Larry Gatt

Larry Gatt, CEO

LP&P’s CEO, Larry Gatt, brings over 35 years of experience in manufacturing, consulting and restructuring to the company. Larry began his career in manufacturing and then transitioned to the consulting world working for Deloitte and Touche before joining a consulting firm that specialized in restructuring, operational improvement and supplier development services. In 2010 Larry was brought in to Lapeer Plating and Plastics to consult and never left. He became the CEO of LP&P and has helped the company to reach almost $50,000,000 in annual revenue. Larry and his wife of 34 years enjoy traveling, wine tasting, cooking together and volunteering at their church.

 

Linda Loomis

Linda Loomis, Quality Manager

Linda Loomis brings at least 20 years of automotive experience to Lapeer Plating and Plastics. She currently is the Quality Manager and has successfully placed controls and processes in the workplace. She recently participated in black belt training and gives support to ongoing improvement activities using toolsets of lean and other improvement mythologies. Linda is a proud grandmother of three grandchildren whom she enjoys spending time with. Whether they are going to amusement parks, shopping, eating out, or simply spending the night, she enjoys their company and watching them grow. In her pastime, you can occasionally find her teeing up on the fairway or escaping from everyday life by immersing herself in a good book.

Tom Prusha

Tom Prusha, Research & Development Manager

With over 44 years of experience in the automotive industry, Tom has held positions from entry level technical positions to top management. His training in the Engineering disciplines has allowed him to succeed at each step, in very diverse areas of manufacturing. This all works to make Tom the perfect fit to lead LP&P’s R&D efforts. Tom has extensive process and equipment knowledge with Injection molding, Chrome Plating, Steel Stamping, Die Casting and Paint Processing.

 

David Van Houzen, Controller

David Van Houzen joined LP&P in February 2011 as the Corporate Controller. Dave has held several higher lever financial positions from Controller to Director, CFO and VP of Finance. He has also managed functions at companies ranging in sales from $25 million to $12 billion annually. Early in his career, he began to develop his expertise in the Tier 1 automotive supplier industry. To date, Dave has over 20 years of automotive supplier experience with 15 years in plastic injection molding. In addition to his manufacturing career, Dave has several years of upper management experience with natural gas energy marketing firms. David earned his Bachelors Degree in Accounting at Western Michigan University in 1978.


Gary Macha, Tooling Manager

As the Tooling Manager at Lapeer Plating and Plastics, Gary Macha introduces a ‘hands-on’ skill set to our organization. With this, he brings over 30 years in the injection molding process. Gary got his start in the plastics industry as a mold maker, absorbing the intricate details of how these tools work, inside and out. With the desire to share his knowledge, he accepted the opportunity to become a Program Manager. This enabled him to share his expertise at a management level. Excelling in this position, he later moved on to become the Director of Operations leading a team of over 50 employees. As both, an enthusiast and collector, of automobiles Gary spends much of his leisure time at car shows. When not on the road to a car show, he can usually be found spending time on his lake, relaxing and taking in the sites.

Tim Coulter, Maintenance Manager

Tim Coulter is the Maintenance Manager at Lapeer Plating & Plastics with over twenty six years of experience and training in Chrome Plating, Injection Molding, Paint and Assembly Equipment. Tim oversees the manufacturing facilities and is an integral part of making sure our plant is running efficiently. Tim is married and has four children and when he is not at work you will find him out on his Harley or in the woods.

 

 

Frank Lucido, Sales Representative

Frank Lucido is an automotive sales and marketing professional to the OEM’s and tiered suppliers. With almost 20 years of sales and account management experience in the industry, he has the knowledge and personal experiences that help him excel in all aspects of the automotive supply business. Since his involvement with LP&P, sales growth has increased by over 300% in a short three year period. He prides himself on being a full service sales professional. Frank is responsible for the complete life cycle of the product.

 

Jennifer Gatt, Sales & Marketing Manager

Jennifer Gatt, our sales and marketing manager, is the newest member of the Lapeer Plating and Plastics team. She joins us from Orlando, Florida where she worked in the hospitality industry. There Jennifer started in sales and then became a part of the executive committee for Marriott. She looks forward to using her sales background and executive experience to bring new and innovative ideas to the company and to grow business even further. In her spare time you can find her spending time with her dogs, cooking or running. Jennifer has a BA in Psychology from Southern Methodist University.
